July 9, 2018At Balaza Ministries, prayer is the foundation of everything we do. We believe that lasting change begins with faith and that every prayer offered has the power to bring healing, protection, and hope to the children and families we serve.

Standing Together in Faith
We invite you to stand with us in prayer for the children in our care, our dedicated caregivers, and the wider community of Sambwe, Luweero. Many of the children we serve come from backgrounds of pain and loss, yet through prayer, we have seen hearts healed, needs met, and lives transformed.
Your prayers strengthen our mission and remind us that we are never alone in this work. As we care for the physical and emotional needs of the children, your intercession helps us stay rooted in God’s presence and guidance.
What to Pray For
You can join us in prayer for:
-
The Children: That they may continue to grow in health, confidence, and faith; that their hearts be restored from trauma, and that they find peace in knowing God’s love.
-
The Caregivers: For strength, wisdom, and compassion as they serve daily with dedication and love.
-
The Ministry: That God will provide the resources, partnerships, and protection needed to continue our mission.
-
The Community: For healing, unity, and peace among families affected by conflict and poverty.
-
Our Leaders: That God will guide every decision we make and help us remain faithful to His purpose.
Prayer Partners and Groups
We welcome individuals, churches, and prayer groups to join our Balaza Prayer Network—a growing community of believers committed to lifting up our ministry in regular prayer. Together, we cover our children and team in faith, trusting God for provision, direction, and miracles.
You can choose to:
-
Pray individually or as a church for our monthly prayer requests.
-
Host a prayer meeting dedicated to the children of Balaza Ministries.
-
Join our online or in-person prayer sessions when available.
The Power of Prayer
Over the years, we have seen God’s hand move in powerful ways—through healed illnesses, restored relationships, and unexpected blessings. Every answered prayer reminds us that God is at work in Sambwe, and your prayers are a vital part of that story.
When you pray with us, you become part of our ministry’s heartbeat. Together, we can continue bringing light and hope to children who once walked through darkness.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16
