The Beginning

Our story began with the recognition of a profound need. In Sambwe, many children were orphaned or left without adequate care due to conflict and hardship. Witnessing their suffering inspired the founders to act to create a home where children could feel safe, valued, and loved.

From the very first child welcomed into our care, we committed to providing more than basic shelter. We wanted to offer a place where children could heal from trauma, access education, and grow spiritually. With faith as our foundation, Balaza Ministries was established as a Christ-centred organisation dedicated to holistic child development.

Our Impact
